Last two QAL blocks

This evening I was able to finish the last two blocks for my
first QAL!
The one on the left is called quatra star, and the one on the
right is of course a Dresden Plate.

This is the first time I have ever made either of these blocks.
They are not perfect by any means, but I am really happy
with how they both turned out :)

Now to decide on the layout and sew the quilt top
together by the 18th of March,so I can be entered to
win a prize!

Wish me luck :)

  1. Of course I wish you Good Luck, but with your skill it't really not required.

Gil's quilt sqares are wonderful, it's going to be a real piece of art. Does he follow the blog consistently, or will there be an element of surprise?

The Moder V quilt is beautiful. Again, your color sense is perfect. Do you usualy work with "fabric collections" or do you prefer to make your own pallettes?

Your fabric from Taos is gorgeous! The rich blue and deep orange Kokopellli prints are so striking.

    Congrats to your lucky winner!

I'll try to be better about commenting more often, instead of these occasional epic tomes.

  2. I'm so jealous. I stopped after 6!

  3. Both of the blocks are wonderful! And cool colors. Good luck with getting it completed, I'm sure you can do it.
